CareerTransitions Process

DISCOVER - Unique Value Proposition

Through a comprehensive assessment, each impacted employee works through a process of helping to uncover his unique skills, abilities, motivations and interests. The goal is to discover his/her unique value proposition.

DEFINE - Career Vision or Professional Brand

Using the outcomes from the Discovery phase, the impacted employee and Career Coach craft a vision or brand statement. Whether the employee is in an hourly non-exempt role or an executive leader, this vision guides key aspects of the remaining process steps.

BUILD - Transition Toolkit

After completing phases 1 and 2 of the process, the employee and coach build a Transition Toolkit with all of the necessary components to move forward:

Career Profile
Revised resume
Training Plan
Individual Action Plan
Resource List

IMPLEMENT - Individual Action Plan

Using the customized Transition Toolkit and our on-demand web-based tools, the employee implements his/her Action Plan. At this stage, the employee is the primary driver with the coach providing support. The goal is to equip the employee with the tools and skills to become self-sufficient in his/her job search.
